I was reading some old post from 2006 where they were talking about aluminum driveshafts and almost everyone was paying about $150 for them but now I am looking around and there all around $250 omgwtfbbqmybffjill what gives?

If you want an inexpensive aluminum driveshaft for a fox body, call a wrecker and look for a 4 wheel drive Aerostar. The driveshaft works with the fox bodies, you just need to swap the yokes and U joints from your steel unit.
