Hey thanks........just get a $400 Maaco paint job like i did. Eventually i will spend more money to make it perfect but it was definetly worth it.

400$ paint job aye? how did that turn out? im keeping my car the stock color but as you can see i have the gt body kit grey and i want that to match the green. i am going to get the whole car sprayed over, but there is a few spots wehre its bubbling up a bit on the hood and rear hatch a bit. would you suggest that i take it to maaco for a low budget job? and how long do you say that will last?

i will never even think of maaco when i want to get a car painted... they by far are the shittiest painters of all. i went to the Carlile car show and saw one of their show cars, the thing had air bubbles and bumps all in the paint. My brother can paint better then them inside of a damn barn

It's hard to say. When i bought this car, it had the same color paint job but it was not shiny at all. Maaco said it will come out like shit for the $400 package but in my eyes i was just looking for shinyness and it made a big difference. As you can see it didn't turn out as bad as the guy thought and he even said that after the fact. It depends what type of shape yours is in. It's not the best paint job.....they just sprayed over everything, but i think it was well worth it compared to what shape it was before, plus it's like 4 years old and still i get looks like crazy. I also didn't have any rust or dents so i think thats why it came out so good.

im not busting on your paint job, but im just saying in preference.... my cars paint is factory stock and shinier then most new cars.... i guess it all depends how often you clean it to... for me.. its 3 times a week.. obsessed? i think not... and theres that 3 dot thing dammit!!...
