Harmonic Balancer

My bolts from my underdrive pully broke off in my harmonic balancer. The part # to the balancer is E4TE-A3A do I have to use the exact one or can I get a different one? And does anyone know where I can get the one with E4TE-A3A part number?

As long as its a 4 bolt 50oz balancer it will work. To get the same EXACT one you had you will probably have to go to a dealership.
Cheapest way would be to get one off a late model 302 in the junkyard.

I recently bought one from Summit. It works fine. Search their site for FMS-M-6316-M50. It was $69. Looks like the same one hmotes referenced above as well.

Normally, it is relatively easy to replace. You will need a 15/16 6 point socket, a breaker bar and probably some type of "mechanical advantage" ie long pipe attached to the breaker bar for some extra umph, and a harmonic balancer puller. You can borrow a HB puller from most auto part chain stores or buy one for about $15. You will have a problem though as the puller attaches to at least two of the bolt holes across from each other and you have studs broken off in them. You may be able to rig something up with a regular gear puller? Good luck and use caution to not damage the crank if you have to get creative.
