well i still can't figure out whats up with the car and its getting worse to the point that i can't start the car hardly at all anymore...the check engine light will flash while i'm trying to start it and it just won't turn over, you can hear it wanting to turn over it just won't i did check for spark and ended shocking the shit outta myself a few times lol. but its gettin spark. the fuel pump is cutting on, not saying that mean its gettin fuel, but i'm just kinda stumped. Anyone here know what it could possibly be?? here are all the symptoms


rough idle, trouble starting,sometimes it'll start start engine light will flash and then the car will rev up on its own and die if you don't hold the rpms long enough for it to maintain a good idle. the car sometimes will feel like its cut off while riding and then cut right back on....

What shop you taking it to ? Can you bring it down one evening and let me pull the codes for you ?

yea i can i already dropped it off at the shop though...it took it to pit stop automotive. I was told the guy is good with mustangs he's got a Fox that says 89 SVO on the tags you probably seen it before.

me and timmy finally got the car started this morning i had left it at lakeside kroger last night because it wouldn't start. it wouldn't start again this morning but then when timmy tapped on the distributor and the coil while i tried to start it...it fired right up.

Id replace them both just for peace of mind

yea i more than likely am going to...my only concern is trying to figure out if there is an underlying problem...the guy said he didn't know without looking at it but usually if the check engine light is flashing while you're trying to crank the car over and it won't start that its alot of times the ignition module.

yeah i'd replace coil and dist and i bet the problem is the ignition module

+ not sure bout having the replace the dist. but my first thoughts were module and coil

modules only 20-30 bucks , replace all 3 and then you wont have to worry for a while

Sucks to hear ur car is messing up, Mine is acting up too and will probably have to take it to the shop soon. I am going to take my ecu and chip back to the place i had it dyno tuned and make sure the tuen and everything is on there, Mine had a problem starting too and checked the coil and module and ended up being the dizzy was bad. Best of luck hopeufully it gets fixed and doesnt cost u an arm and a leg.

yea they're just charging me 60 to figure out whats wrong with it...i'll probably fix it myself.
