a ticking noise
theres a ticking noise coming for the driver side of the engine. it ticking when the car starts and when its running but when im costing down the road the more gas i give it the more and louder it ticks. but if im costing down it stops.
it goes away sometimes after about a 10 min ride. i have been told to diff things. a lifter/rocker and another ideal was that its a blown gasket

If it were a blown head gasket, you would most likely have water in the oil. I would say you either have a problem with one of your rockers, or you have a small exhaust leak. It would make sense to me if it goes away after a 10 minute ride because heat causes wherever it is leaking to expand stopping the leak and the noise.

no headers? check your exhaust manifold bolts,... sounds like an exhaust leak
