351w Lt's

Anyone ran the hedman lt's w/ the 351w swap?? Are they worth getting over shorties? Found them for 186 new but if its not worth the extra money or will have a lot of fitment issues I don't wanna waste my time.

Have fun getting them in ............................

only headaches you will have is around the steering shaft. Its TIGHT.
They are a royal pain to get in and out even with everything right.

not that its not easy, just gotta manipulate some stuff, starter off on the pass side, undo the mounts on both sides so you can tilt the motor, i found it easiest to just take the steering shaft off at the rack

Nope, the stearing shaft is just a real PITA on these 351 swaps.
You have to lift the engine up some, and even then its a wrestle.

you dont have to take your starter off everytime. kooks headers fit really well. also do you have tubular front suspension?

I was reading somewhere that other vehicles w/ the 351w had the oil pan I could use. Is this true? Someone said a bronco pan could be used, is that right??
