HG question
To many out their to choose from
4.030 bore, but cometic, mr. gasket, fel-pro, etc.... no spray/forced induction. |

id run the 1011-1 or 2 which ever one doesnt have the ring for aluminum heads
kinda pricey, but do it once and be done with it 40 or so a gasket

2 is the copper and jegs says to run this one
1 is the steel and says its not recommended......why? cast iron heads, not alum. |

one is for aluminum heads, had the ring around it
no, those arent copper, they are the same ones, one of them is .039 and the other is .041 either one will work, id run the thinner one personally if its a stockish build

1011-1 bore 4.1" nom. comp. thickness: .041" compressed volume 9cc 1011-2 bore 4.1" nom.comp. thickness: .039" comoressed volume 8.5cc BOTH are made of Pre-flattened steel-wire core laminate. They both are black with pretty blue sealer around the water passages.

k, and one more question:
book says i can reuse head bolts. recommend it or should i buy new? |

buy new ones, arp's about 50 bucks or so, well worth it, they are reusable, the arps
make sure you run a tap down the head bolt passages and clean them out 7/16-14 i believe
