Dont do what I did

So i got 2 cobra fender badges. Went to put them on. Well i used something my cousin told me to use. Well it dribbled down the fender and ate my paint.

. Iam so mad. Now they need to be reapainted. Unless wet sanding will do it. But i dont know.

Never use permabond. I guess iam more of a motor head then a body man.

lol, i dont mean to laugh cause that sucks and i feel for u bro...i would be so pissed off cause u were only trying to do somthing so little and ended up causing some serious visual damage..

Permabond is terrible I ghave used it before with similar reprocutions

Those badges are not made to work on a non Cobra. On non Cobra's, they can do some serious damage. One is they can put a lot of lateral stresses on the fender leading to the glue leaking out the bottom of the emblem and possibly damaging the paint. Another issue is they lead to the possibility that you might add a large wing or a large exhaust tip as well. Luckily, you noticed it in time and only have some paint damage.

i dont know what all these guys are making a fus about.

im ok with a replica as long as it can stand up to the name, a friend of mine has a 99 gt that is a exact replica of an 03, right down to the interior. its got a 2.6 kenne bell, and has ran a best of 11.3, everyone freaks out at the track when he pops his hood and its a single OHC.

sorry about the paint issues.
