Its a V-8 with the same firing order and same sensors/componets...so there is absolutly no reason for it not to work.

You will need as 351 efi distributor though.

I used a 1992 F-250 distributor with the "divorced" aka remote ignition modual. Its a plug and play swap.

i've read in a old 5.0 mag that the Mass air system would have to tuned/adjusted to properly run a 5.0 EEC on a 5.8 . i'm not completely standing by that, but thats what they say....

it looks as though the distributor thats on the 96 351w will plug directly into my 5.0 wiring (same plug...round style)
