Weird problem to have

I recently did a quick freshen up on my stock motor after I blew a ring threw the piston out the valve. And it's held up great I replaced every seal etc except.... I used the stock oil pan and on the side the oil level sending unit is starting to leak like shit and it's really pissing me of. I'm about to order a new motor from woody with my tax money but I one it'll be like 8 weeks and I still like drive my car and keep spraying a 200 on it in the mean time . Is there an easy solution to this shit or am I screwed?

Is it threaded? It's leaking to bad for my garage and I can't stand oil all over the underside of my car. I was hoping there was a way I could drain the oil and replace the seal or whole unit or something. I can't figure out if it comes out or not

There is a little bung welded to the inside of the oil pan.. About the only thing you could do for now is silicone..

Shit that's what I thought. I just won't drive it. I took the wire out and it's a ball of silicone and it didn't help. Thanks though. That's a stupid ass design pull the motor to fix a sensor leak

drain the oil let it sit for awhile spay it down with brake clean and jb weld or cold weld its in a round tube at the auto parts store the best stuff is called sure seal in a yellow tube. It's like hard play doe rub it around until it gets warm and place on the leaking area. I have had it on a oil pan on a snow plow truck for 3 years not one leak.
