I have a set, 215cc, good power gain, went on fine, good castings. I did use good hardware and springs tho.

go to Web Page Re-director and search there are many many threads on how horrible the quality is on these heads and how people didn't gain nearly as much as they shoul dhave when compared to other heads of the same caliber.

This is the only pick I have that the casting arn't that bad. Really they arnt.
All the bolts lined up suprise free install.

215cc runners, 2.02/1.64" stud mount,64cc chambers. 1.45"125#seat pressure, comp cams Stainless 1.6. trickflow pushrods.

I had a stock shortblock, I fly cut my pistons with a Dremmel. PP Typhoon intake, 65mm tb, 30# inj, 76mm maf.

Im not gonna be posting times, just the head swap gained me 7mph, over ported p heads, with 10:1. my compression droped with the procomp to just over 8.5:1

You have a 50/50 shot on getting hunk-a junk castings with the Pro-Comps

Some people use them without issues, some people have nothing but headaches.

Get what you pay for.

And...... is it just me or are the exhaust and intake actually touching in
the above picture ? ...... looks like they are to me ...... not good.

Twisted Wedge
RHS - CompCams ---- the old Pro-Topline heads for Austrl.
AFR
Dart

are the only heads I would mess with.

I'm just courious, but how many people leaving advise have used the heads?

The heads flow in the 260s @.550, and thats with the valve guide extending into the port .25". Not the best in flow numbers, but good for a 700 dollar set of heads, IMO.

If you ask me, I say they only suffer in the flow area. They have been reliable, under race conditions for me?

What size were the rocker studs? What was the valve length?

couldnt tell you the valve length it had 3/8 studs.

the holes for the studs had almost a 2* rake to them left to right.

well when you put the stud in, instead of sitting vertical with the others, all 8 studs looked like the leaning tower of pisa, so off to the machine shop we went and low and behold they were all off

to many good heads on the market to waist time and money on something with so many bad reviews "50/50" chance dosn't sound to good to me. I have no expereance with these heads but I have heard a ton of back and forth talk about them, so stick with a trick flow, edlebrock, afr, canfields.
