700cfm Edlebrock


So my Auto body teacher let me try out this 700cfm Edlebrock Carb, Would it be too big for my setup? Its a pretty much stock 351w just built tranny and rear end, I can sell my quadrashit if this will work so im hoping for the best

how did you get a quadrajet on a ford? two different bases.

ford factory cars are a holley with autolite/ford stamped over the holley.


700 will work, might be a touch too big for a stock motor, but if you tweak it, it will work.

I personally cant stand edlebrock carbs, but they tend to be good for stock/cruiser cars

Mr.Gasket adapter plate, 2 bigs and 2 smalls, Fit perfectly lol

Alot of people tend to say edlebrocks come out of tune easily but thats not a big problem for me, I just want something better lol
No offense to the QuadraJet, But id rather not run into problems everyone says about it, And i will eventually need something bigger and this is a bang for a buck, $150 for that edlebrock, been ran twice down the road and given to him by his brother-in-law

use it then, and if you are using two plates to make it work, fuck that, asking for a vacuum leak. throw all that quadrajet shit away, or throw it at your enemy.

I put it on today and tried cranking it and it would catch, just kept turning over, somethings wrong with that picture...
