17x10 rim info


Ok my new rims are coming in thies wedensday and i was wondering what i need to do to get the 17x10 in the back to fit right
Do i need to flip the quad shock and do i need to hammer the inner fender

LAter

you cant use the qua shock, you need new rear components, you will prbly need to roll the fender and use a bfh for the inner fenderwell

well i got the fenders roled already and i was told that you just need to flip the quad shocks

Best thing to do will be to carfully remove the quad shocks. Then throw them in the trash as quick as you can!

i have been driving around with my quads off for a couple months now because i put on a 275....no problems so far.....i have spun the tires a few times and havent really noticed much wheel hop

so its fine to take off the quad shocks until i updat thr rear suspension

i run 275/40/17's in the rear on my car and the rims are 10.5 inches wide. My car is lowered 1.5" and to get clearance i had to roll the outer fenderwells, use a bfh on the inners, and i also bought granatelli adjustable lower control arms to prevent any rubbing around corners, and I dumped my exhaust right before the rear axle becuse my tailpipes were rubbing on my tires. Good luck with it. Everyones cars are different in what types of mods are needed.

well the shocks are gone and i do notice a little rougher ride but all that will change in time with some new gear for the rear but still waiting on rims.. damn delay
