Did you run the + cable through the interior or under? Also what side did you run it on?

i went on the inside on the drivers side along side the wires going back to the tails lights and what not

any power wire should be kept away from weather as good as possible

+1 - me too. Easy run, and there's a pass through up under the dash which pops out near the brake booster.

Tried that. Can't seem why it keeps melting the cable. Starting the get expensive.

Sounds good I'll strip the wire and run it under the car attached with duct tape right next to the fuel lines.
