Um...more than that guys.

Headers
Oil pan AND rails
Oil pump and pickup (FRPP swap kit is best bang for the buck, 135 bucks)
351 Distributor
Lower intake if you have aftermarket intake, or a complete upper and lower
If you have stock heads, you will need to drill out the bolt holes for 1/2" bolts
The balance on 351s are 28oz. If you want to just swap it in, you need 28oz flywheel/flexplate and a 28oz balancer
A/C and P/S bracket or just P/S if you deleted the A/C
If its a roller cam, you need tie bar lifters or mod the block
longer pushrods
Extend the fuel rails

beer...

^ Really? So if you don't have A/C and you get the FRPP P/S 302 bracket...and you switch to a 351...you don't need the FRPP 351 swap bracket?

bellhousing patterns are the same. Yes, any tranny that bolts to a 302, it will bolt to a Windsor.

86er...tell me how an AC/PS bracket from a 302 fits a Windsor. The bracket(s) bolt to the water pump...the the upper bracket bolts to the head. Tell me how a bracket made for a 8.2 deck works with a deck of 9.5??? Now if you MADE it work, that's different...but a 302 bracket WILL NOT bolt on to a Windsor...period, that is why they make "swap" brackets.

Well the weak point is the block. The crank holds quite a bit...and the block will split at some point just like the 302 block does at 500-600hp. I think the Windsor will start having problems around the 800ish range...

if someone is going to build an 800 hp motor, that aint going to be cheap.. why the hell would they use a stock block anyway? LOL
