87' 4 Banger >>> 351 or 2003 GT?

I went to a stealership the other day to checkout a 2003 GT. Pretty nice. I only want red with a black interior.

I have a 1987 LX Mustang. It has 3.73 gears. Its a 4 banger 2.3L.

I already have a rebuilt perfect 351 Windsor sitting in my garage. I also already have the rear end that will be needed to support it.

But at the same time I would like a newer Mustang and to put this one away for awhile.

If I buy a new one it would be a 2003 Mustang GT. V8, 5 SpD, black leather interior.

So which do you guys think I should do and do you have any expierences or insight here?

Ya only because the guy that ahd it right before I bought it and redone it had plans for it to go to the track 4 cylinder class.

Thats the worst sentence I have ever written, but I am sick lol.

I like to joke that I have a 5 cyl. lol cuz I can beat all 4 cyl. stock but can't beat the 6 cyl. But thats just me.

I'm thinking 351 and then a super or turbocharger (whichever goes here).

All depends on a new job or not here by summer.

What are you waiting for? Get that 351 in there. And I really like the new edges. They look good and they sound freakin awesome.

i put a 351 w in a 88 fox with a c6 and its not bad good torqe

Also dropping the 351 will save me some money along the way so I might just look into when we can start this project.

if you want to go fast and like wrenching go with the fox, if you don't like wrenching and want a nice tight comfortable car then go with the new mustang
