Question

What to do???

Ok, I have an option to potentiall buy a 1977 Fiat X1/9 for $1300 delivered to me, one that looks like it'll run (last ran in 2000, sat from then on because of money problems with old couple, now in the hands of some guy from Texas). I wanna get it just for a project car to mess around with and have fun with (mid engine, 2 seater, removable top, engine is like 1200cc i think) and drive.

Or i could spend this money on my aging '95 mustang, 197k miles on it. Idk what to do here and I hate decisions :/

I've got around 2500 saved up right now for car stuff. help me!

if it sat since 2000... thats 9 years bro. he may have started it now and then. but Texas has dust storms and rain and things, not to mention if it has hail damage or whatever else mother nature threw at it. I would keep your pony. I would just save the cash. ur pony has alot of miles so you cant do much to the engine safely, so i would save it. but thats me

dont buy the fiat. sell your 95, use the money from that and the money you have to buy a decent fox. there is one for sale by me. 6000 dollars. not a speck of rust, nice wheels, notch.

Idk, I just want a project car for once or something I can have fun with for the fuck of it. I hate not being able to do shit to my OLD ass car. I love it to death, but its like I cant do anything to it or it might just fall the fuck apart. Im kind of ranting. Its just i feel stuck between a rock and a hard place. I wanna get a car I can actually make fast and do shit too for once

Mid engine or not, a 1.2 liter engine will not be very fun to drive.
