4 cyl maf sensor or 8 cyl?

I was at the junk yard today looking for mass air parts for my car, and I couldn't distinguish what was a 4 cyl maf sensor or a 8 cyl maf sensor. There were 4 mustangs there, all 4 cylinders, but they have numerous v8 parts in the hatches and i was wondering if there is anyway to really tell if i'm looking at all 4 cyl ones, or if i'm looking at 8 cyl ones.

well, not surprised as this site never answers any questions for people nor has it been any help in the building of my '87 coupe, unless it's the moderator answering questions, this site has shit for information.

Dude, you only waited about 8 hours before whining like a bitch. and to tell you the truth, after reading that second post, i dont think anybody who knows would want to help you. If you think you are broke, try being a college student with no financial aid and living in dorms. I bet high school isnt $20,000+ a year is it? Just a hint, try not to go cheap, it will end up hurting you most of the time.

ok first off kid. you posted this at 4 in the morning when people normally sleep. :sleep :sleep :sleep :sleep <---- Normal people at 4am

2nd of all it was the weekend and people may not have computers at home or maybe just maybe they were watching Football or not home at 12 noon or maybe they were still sleeping :sleep :sleep :sleep :sleep

and most important for future reference if you want people to be more willing to help dont be a jackass and bash this site and the members. you will lose so much respect for what you said and people wont be willing to help you out. :wink

Well here is a thought

I would call the Ford dealer, and ask for the Ford part number for your particular MAF sensor. The Part numbers are stamped on the part. You might want to also tell us the year of the car as well. I agree with the other members here, but I am going to be optomistic, and say that because you are 16, and perhaps upset at something that you bashed us, and yes, when you bash the site, you are bashing the members. Now, this is not to say that all 16 year olds are this way, just that all of us get pissed from time to time. My suggestion would be to apologize, give us some more info, and continue to enjoy the valuable resources here.

What ya say?????????????????

Please note that I did add the following comment to my post
"this is not to say that all 16 year olds are this way"
I knew if I didn't I would hear something, I guess it didn't work, but I am with you
