Rear Seat Delete

Anyone done the rear seat delete on their car. I am thin king of getting the kit from Fox Mustang Restoration.

I bought my car cheap the body/frame are in great shape but the carpeting/Insulation in the rear half of the car had seen better days. I pulled that all out, the insulation on the wall was still good so I left that alone but I am wondering what I should be looking for for insulation to put under the delete kit, to improve stereo sound within the car as well as reduce the rather nasty road noise I am getting at the moment.

Will the kit come with that? Or am I gonna have to go hunting for something?

+1 good advice. but, you don't need the dynamat with the aluminum looking backing on it. most people buy that cause they think they need it. buy the cheapest stuff you can get (which will still cost a good bit to cover the entire rear of the car)

have any of you guys tried that spray in insulator/sound dampener? Mr. Gasket make some that's like 20 bucks a can. maybe that could be another alternative....

Baine21225 that looks real nice, I like what you did with the battery box. Does that make it a pain to access the battery? +2 for good advice.

build your own out of metal or plywood. use dynamat and not the spray adhesive, that stuff is really messy and doesnt work near as well

Bought one from K-designs.

top quality. Didn't come with any insulation, but it is 1/2" MDF and kills most noise.
