My uncle bought an 85 gt a few years ago from a mechanic that had a lein on it and didn't get the title. The car has been sitting this whole time not being used for anything. My uncle is currently over seas now and said i could do whatever i want with the car. Problem is, he doesn't even now where his bill of sale is. I want to eventually turn this into a race car so ultimatly this doesn't matter too much, but want know if there is any way possible to get it registered. It could be a free daily driver and give me another toy if possible. The engine is in great shape, the car just needs new brake system, 1 wheel, battery, and 4 new tires. Is this possible or a waste of time?

i dont see why it wouldn't be possible. i'm not sure, but i think you can get a new title if the old one was lost. dont quote me on that, though..
