Did I need my 2.3 harness...?
Im putting a carbed 302 into my 88 2.3 car.. and i pulled out the whole 2.3 harness.
I know the fuel pump is controlled by the ecu, but i'm rewiring that, its easy enough. But now my power locks and windows aren't working. Is all that controlled by the factory harness? I was under the impression that the 2.3 harness was all engine related stuff, not chassis harness. Any help or links to wiring diagrams would be helpful.

according to this diagram, nothing chassis related is controlled by the engine harness.. so it should work.. whats going on?

Did u pull out the dash harness? The doors get their power from there.

no i didn't all i pulled was the computer and engine harness. the one that runs through all the passenger firewall side. the rest of the wiring is still in tact.
is there any power wires that lead from the main harness to the dash harness that i need to supply power to? Ill check again tom for any grounds and triple check all my fuses again. Does anyone have a picture of what wires go to the factory solenoid? The ignition switch needs power from the battery and the battery cable goes to it, and the ignition switch applies power to accessories, so using the transative property, maybe I missed a wire that's on the solenoid that needs power.
