Should I use this?

lookin around at different assembly lube
Edelbrock 9260 - Edelbrock Cam and Lifter Lube - JEGS

will 2 of these be enough for the cam/lifters/rockers/main bearings/rod bearings?

i also read that people just use assembly lube on the cam, and just standard oil on everything else..

royal purple lube works fine as well as white lube.. You can use a conventional oil to break you motor in also, thats all the royal purple is..

You need somthing with high zinc content, the newer conventional oils have done away with zinc in the formulas. ask any good engine biulder. I am just trying to save you time and money.

I was told that because its a roller block i dont have to worry as much as i would with a flat tappet.

ended up going with a 110gph mechanical pump, royal purple assembly lube and non-synthetic engine oil for the initial startup (engine already has 300 miles on it when first put together)

had to take it apart (bought it rebuilt) so i could make it a roller block
