Really thinking about gettin a V-3
I want the V-3 supercharger. I seen one for 3k new. How much will it cost to install, I dont really have the know how, even tho I heard its easy I rather it done right.
And doing nothing else is this gonna be a noticeable difference in power, and what like 1-2sec off 1/4 mile? Any info is very appreciated. |

what all is done to your car? install cost depends on the shop. there will be a definite difference in power but you will have to spend some money on tuning and supporting modifications for the car to run like it should

Since its not intercooled anyone is capable of doing this. You just take off the clutch fan, and fan shroud. Then the smog pump, alternator and main bracket. Then mount the blower. You don't even need to tap the pan. cut into the fender wall and bam done deal.

even if it's intercooled or you throw an intercooler in the mix anybody can do it..... a shop can charge anywhere from $60 to 100 depending on your location and the shop. Around here a typical install of an s trim blower will be between $800 to $900 then you have to have the thing tuned which if you don't have a pms then you have to do a sct chip or flip chip which is going to run you anywhere from $500 to $750 for the tune and chip setup but every area and shop is different.
I'd concider doing it yourself it's easy and you'll learn allot about the car if you don't know basic shit yet |
