i would probably shift yours at about 5300 as it stops making power at 5500. You never want your car to stop making power so if you keep it in your power range you will notice a very big difference power wise.

If you look your power is falling off at 5500, and like they said above by the time you shift your hitting 5700 to 5800 and at 5800 your making the same power you would if shift at 4500

Adjust your shift points accordingly..... Usually shift about 400 rpms above peak power....

I would shift it at 5900-6000

shift a tad bit higher than peak power. Even though it makes a little less hp at 6k than it does at 5300, when you shift, you will be higher in the rpm range i.e. after the shift your at 4500 instead of 38.. thats 35 hp being lost just by shifting early.

its a double edged sword, you put the motor where it wont make power or shift where the power stops and have to wait all of a nano second to recoupe the 300rpms lost by shifting early, personally id rather have the motor shift at peak power, and have it drop just a smidge in power on the shift, its not like its dropping off that bad if you shift at 5500

before he is using the stock tach to determine when to shift i think he should get some track time...shift at different points and let the track do the talking
