Install Temp Gauge


My car had an autometer temp gauge somewhat installed when i got it but its not reading, The Capillary tubing is mounted in my intake and i didnt find any kinks, But i dont know if the electricals are hooked up right. So where should it be tapped into?

well if its a mechanical gauge then the only elctronics that will be there is the light to light up the gauge.

Hmm didnt think of that, Well, Any problems i should look for? Would could prevent it from workin?

take it off the intake and check and see if theres any corrosion or anything like that. doesnt it have a black sheath around the internal tubing? there might be a crimp that you cant see because of that.
