im looking more into not as much top end power, but more into quick spools, 400 to 800hp range depends im like the way 650hp sounds...i just gotta figure out alot of things, id rather have 550hp with amazing throttle response and low lag, then 700hp with horrible response and lots of lag

I want twins on low boost too. But everyone keeps saying that the stock block won't handle it. Good luck man.

call an engine builder. tell them everything you want to do blah blah. with all the things you just told us you want theres no way your gonna get solid answer from any of us.
you want 400-800HP then 650 sounds good. you want road race, street, and drag strip. you want top end power but quick spools.

i recommend theturboforums.com

sit and read my friend.

are you absolutely set on a turbo? You can accomplish everything you want on motor... the most important thing to figure out is E.T. goals... even if its a street car...then go from there... you wouldnt want a dyno queen...

twin is a waste, you can make just as much power with a single setup and a stock block won't handle much past 450

the A/R size is going to justify where your car will spool. im going to be turboing my black 88 soon and im going with a holset h1c.

my advice to you is to read as much as you can

Ford Mustang Turbo Size Guide - Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Magazine

that artical will help you with anything you need to know.

what im trying to get at is...around the street ill run 5psi and just cruise with like 350hp or more just chillen then when i go to the strip boost it up to 15psi or more, im deffently set on turbo,(its the best power adder know to man) its more efficient and makes more power with less boost than supercharged, superchargers are parasites and better for quick and easy power, they are kool but im all about turbo hands down, and not to many people are running turbo foxes, (its different and more rare) sounds NASTY tooo! im going to be running megasquirt2 stand alone system (i think) and i can have pre-set tunes one for the street one for drag strip, one for road race, even for different weather and temps. It also depends on what kind of fuel im running, Lets say im cruising on the streets and then i hop on the high way and some evo or STi pulls up next to me...laptop is getting opened and my 5.0 is gonna go from a sick street car to a beast in seconds... ive been reading alot about turbo set ups and the physics of boost and turbo, i want to fully build my motor than once i got everything planned out turbo it... i

Twin or single has nothing to do with how it spools and how much power it makes..

It all depends on how big the a/r / trim you are looking at.

But... one cool thing about d.i.y. twins is that two smaller, less efficient turbos can make just as much power as an expensive aftermarket single..

Perhaps twin hx35/h1c's
