What motor would work
Ok im look for a motor and I was just wondering what kind of motors whould work for my car? For example lets say I cam across a 5.4 newer motor , would I have get a differet tranny. Also if I got a windsor 5.8 what would I have to to get to fit right. Those are some thingsim just courious about so if you inform me it would be nice

pretty vague question you have their. you can make any motor work in anything. what are you wanting to do? ha if you got a 5.4 mod motor, new tranny would probably be the least of your worrys. 5.8 is a pretty simple swap, heres everything you need to switch, really a good article.
302 to 351 swap??? Some info here

yes its the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 302

yes it would, but dont know how long it would hold up tho. its like a tickin time bomb already

I would stick with a windsor motor. 302 is obviously bolt in and 351 is a simple swap, but going to a mod motor would be sick and very time consuming

ok well i was just wondering cause i might be able to get a 351 or a 302 for really cheap and im going to rebuild and my plans for my car uhhh well i dont know to much right now i like drag but it to short and i went to a drift event and i think i might be hooked to that but it still a tos up

That's why I have a 240sx and a Mustang to drag Oh.. and a truck to go get parts when I break shit racing haha

like previously said, the mod motor would be bad ass but, way too much time and money involved in that, the 351 would be a great motor

some one told me that the 351 burn up alot of oil and isnt to good for a DD

i was talkng to a guy with a ford brone and he said that the 5.8 in his car sucks and it would be the stupiest thing to do to swap in to my stang
