I've got high expectations now

Well I just got back my heads. I'm hoping for 600+ horsepower N/A. What do you think?

-408w 10.5 to 1 compression
-Trick flow twisted wedge R heads (ported and polished)
-comp cams ultra gold 1.6 roller rockers
-custom cam
-pro systems carb 950cfm
-ported victor jr intake
-msd ignition system
-comp headers 2 1/8
-3 inch prochamber
-3 inch mac dumps

I'm hoping for the 600 horsepower range and then i've got a zex perimter system to top it off with a 200 shot with.

I needed special headers for the twisted wedge r heads and 2 1/8 was the size. I didnt think a 408w would really have a low end torque issue in a 2800lb car.

You could run 11s starting in third.

Tweak every last drop out of that suspension and hit single digits!

Make friends with mustank, he can make the simplist of builds go retardedly fast haha, imagine with some of his advice how fast a 408 could go

big power requires alot of air flow the more air you can get in and out of your motor the more power you can make.

thats is a good header for that motor man.

I've read/heard that primary diameter size is important, but the velocity of the header is influenced more by the collector to mid pipe diameter.. hard to explain but ya

I'm mainly building this car for a nasty street car. With the occassion trip to the dragstrip with friends. My suspension is pretty basic. I've got eibach sportline springs, eibach sway bars, bilstein shocks, poly bushings, tubular upper and lower rear control arms, sn95 frt spindles. I'm running 315/35-17 nitto drag radials in the back right now.

sounds like a great start! Those springs are set up more for cornering, look into a sex of rear 4cyl springs to get that thing to squat and plant while launching. Also a tubular front would loosen the weight on the nose of the car dramatically.
