T-5 Trans out of a sn 6cyl?
Is the 94 and up T-5 that comes in the v6 stangs the same as the older fox t-5 trans? I know the differences in the 4cly trans that came in fox 4 clys but confused slightly on the v6 t-5.

Has anyone used one on a 5.0 with success? They are easier to get from a junk yard than finding a t-5 for a v8 car.

i dont think you would have a problem taking a t5 out of a v6 mustang. go for it. im sure they are at least a bit stronger than the 4cyl t5's and people use those to drag race all the time

94-95 6cyl T-5 is the same as a 94-95 8cyl T-5. Input shaft is longer than the pre 94 T-5. Could be made to work in a 5.0 Fox with 94-95 bellhousing or a change out of the input shaft. Shifter location would change if you used the longer input shaft setup.
