Exhaust question

so I just put bbk long tubes with 1'3/4 primaries and a 3 inch collector. And It was the nice little mission I thought it would be, I had to pull both motor mounts and take off the steering shaft but any ways my question is the o2 sensors aren't long enough now. What's the best way to fix it? Will it hurt to splice em and heat shrink em? Thanks guys

go buy new ones with longer wires, or buy the extenders. always nice to have new O2 sensors

I would just buy the extension cables.. if your splice job isn't good you won't be getting the right volts to the sensors and won't get the right reading and could end up running pig rich or lean for some reason later on down the road.. you'll be scratching your head and posting here while purchasing a new this and that to try to fix the problem only to find out your splice job took a shit

I think I got my extenders from the local auto parts place, they ordered them and got them next day from their supplier.
