gasket set Question
I am looking at installing all new gaskets in my 5.0L. However all the companies are telling me there are 2 different types of oil pan gaskets now available. First there is a 1 piece gasket and second there is a 4 piece set. Major difference in price between the 2. Has anyone had any problems with either? Also I am looking at the whole set from Latemodel and they tell me there are no valve seals that come with the “complete” set and they do not sell just the valve seals alone. Wtf?

Just go to the part store and piece it together.... Always use a 1 piece rubber oil pan gasket....makes life easier.

i used the 1 piece type on a 350 chev a while ago and it was the shits.
I just noticed the huge price difference ordering from cj pony or summit compared to what i would be paying here in canada. i defintely will be ordering online and keep the U.S.A. economy striving forward. any gasket manufacturers i should watch out for?? Thanks again |
