Injector Sizing ... Hurry !

I have been told 42#ers for my set up which is only 6 psi ad the mods in my sig. This seems high wat should I go with ? And also can any mass air be recalibrated with a dyno ? Or do I have to match the injectorrs with the maffs calibration?

if you are going to get it tuned professionally , might as well get the 42s , if the tuner is any good , it wont matter

I would get the 42# injectors they can be tuned for what you got.I'm sure your MAF needs to be matched for them. You can get a calibration control from Anderson ford performance or by a new one.unless you have some sort of stand alone pcm.

Lucky for you I just bought 42lbers and I'm looking for a maf as of right now.

You can get a pmas maf calibrated for the blower and 43lb injectors, but you can't recailbrate it on your own.

c and l makes good mafs but their to expensive and small.

What Im doing is either a lightning or 2003 cobra maf. You don't calibrate it, it gets tunes. So get your injectors then get a maf on ebay for under 100 dollars. Your going to need to more things

a plug adapter. Your maf is 4 prong the lightning is 5. The connector is on ebay for 39 bucks

then the adpater to put a pipe on it 44 dollars on ebaqy. Get to work.

a lightning MAF is not calibrated to any injector , and the mafs that are calibrated to injector sizes are much good once you get over a 24 or 30lbs injector

the lightning maf and 42lbs injectors are a popular setup because that is what the lightning trucks had which were factory supercharged , so its easy for a tuner to get a baseline tune done on the vehicle using the stock info from those trucks , calibrated mafs throw off the load tables so they are really a headache in a boosted application ........

these questions you are asking you should be asking the guys whos going to tune it , not the guys on here .....IMO talk to your tuner and find out what he is more comfortable using .....is this a solid enough answer ?

I had said might as well , because you seemed like you were already looking to buy them , you are going to end up needing a tune unless you just want it to drive like crap so if you get it tuned going a little oversized with the 42s will only give you more room to grow later

+1 on the 42# injectors. Spend the money and buy a real MAF like an SCT or C&L and a good CAI to house it in the fenderwell where it won't get any wash from your fan/alternator. You'll also need an SCT or similar device to piggyback on your EEC and hold your tune(s) as well.

eBay Motors: 90mm Lightning MAF Air Filter Adapter Flanged Flange 4" (item 360100616017 end time Mar-21-09 18:50:34 PDT)

Thats the filter adapter

then you need to buy a maf adapter. The plug for your maf is differn't from that of the lightnings. idk about the pipes. I suppose it will work?
