I have 3.73 gears and work fine for me, I drive it everyday on the street, Plenty of top end. I say 3.73 is a good balanced gear

I would stick with the 3.73 so it will still be a decent driver. The 4.10 would be nasty though!

manual trans FTW. what trans are you using? don't go any higher than 3.73. once my motor is built ill be switching back to 3.73 so i can run with the turbo boys on the highway

I ended up going with a tko trans. I might just try out the 4.10's that are already in it. but I have 315/35-17 rear tires which is like a 25.7 inch tire so the gear is pretty steep with the 4.10.

TKO Box if you insist with a standard tranny. No factory ford transmission will last more than a few passes with that setup lol.

Keep the 4.10s and run a taller tire like a 28x10.50.. which will make it about a 3.90 gear. Still a bit too tall, but Im not sure what gear size is in the TKO box's first gear.

Gear selection depends on many variables. Weight, rpm range, tire size, etc. If its mostly a street car than it isn't a real big deal. Just throw in whatever gears you have laying around.

Good luck with that manual transmission and 800+ horsepower on nitrous. Unless its a Liberty, Jericho or equivalent it is going to be laying in pieces all over the road if you ever spray it on a sticky tire.

This man is correct. Even though, we don't see eye to eye, He is 99.9% correct.
