torque arms are different then upper/lower control arms. With a torque arm setup you still use the lower control arms

There products tend to be heavier compared to others and read carefully when making your choice with there stuff... they like to say that there stuff isn't ment for drag racing and when it breaks during drag racing it's not there fault etc etc

oval racing they're stuff is fantastic and they do know there stuff.

I just ordered this kit

1979-1998 Ford Mustang Pro Street Adjustable Upper & Lower Control Arm Package

but now i'm second guessing myself thinking i should have not gotten the poly bushings

1979-1998 Ford Mustang Pro Series Adjustable Control Arms Package - UPR Products

what do you guys think? i need quick responses so i can call tomorrow and change it if i want to. like i said, i got the poly bushing ones in the first link

I'd steer clear of the poly bushings in the UCAs and spend the extra money for sphericals.

79-04 Mustang Billet 8.8" Spherical Bushings

You're talking about these yes? I can't afford the extra $90 right now, so should I just change to the other kit? They come with aluminum bushings

The UCAs in the second kit are much better, but I don't like the look of those LCAs - they have NO bushing on the chassis side, so you better make sure your torque boxes are reinforced.

Any way to get the UCAs from the 2nd link with the LCAs from the first?

Yes to the UCAs, no to the LCAs, hahahah.

You want the LCAs that are in the first kit. The ones with the poly bushings on one side and sphericals on the other.

You want the UCAs that have the spherical bushings on the axle side.

Get these, and thou shalt be happy.

You already made up your mind but I'll add my 02.
I have an old school southside bar type setup. They make a lot of noises, they hang LOW, and the additional plates welded on would make it hard to go back to regular control arms. Maybe more modern kits are better?
