Got a new toy

It's an 89 GT white exterior that's in decent shape, paint is in good condition for being 20 years old. Porno red interior, I'm really starting to dig it the more i sit in there. It has a Cervinis Stalker front bumper cover and Cervinis Ram Air hood, I'm not too sure that I'm a fan of the hood though. The guy that but them on did a HORRIBLE job lining everything, the hood rubs the cowl and the hood and front bumper have like a 1 1/2 in gap between them, but overall it was a great deal because I don't think the guy knew half the stuff that had been done to it.

Mod list is as follows.

Freshly rebuilt 306
Freshly rebuilt T-5
Mac coated shorty headers
Mac offroad h pipe
chokemaster 50 series (does sound wicked though)
Ford Racing F cam
A/C eliminator pulley
Richmond 3.55 gears with freshly rebuilt carbon trac-lok
King Cobra clutch
ported and polished E7's (I know, first replacement)
1.6 Roller rockers(not sure of brand)
new springs, retainers, pushrods
Ford Racing 30 lb injectors
Pro M mass air (calibrated for 30s)
MSD dizzy cap/rotor
Ford Racing wires
255 lph Walbro fuel pump
Kirban adjustable fuel pressure regulator
BBK 75 mm throttle body
Weld Racing wheels all around (even threw in a free one as a spare tire)
threw in a free cobra rear bumper cover
threw in a few free ford racing gauges with the dash pod next to the cluster:
5 in tach with bigger shift light
oil pressure
voltmeter
water temp.
some free home made boxed upper/lower control arms (he's a welder)
has those oil shields over the roller rockers (never actually seen people use)
everything has about 6K on the rebuild
new stock replacement radiator
electric fan(not sure of brand)
oh . . . . . and a Vortec SC trim running 10 lb of boost
I'm forgetting a few things but I think it was a good deal for $4,800

I know I'd be the first one to complain but I wont have pics until tomorrow or Thursday

Any dyno sheets? Forget the e7s... If your on 30lb injectors I suggest you go get 42lbers a recailbrate your maf and go get a retune and make some real power.

I think he will be OK on 30's right now, but I would highly highly recommend getting hooked up to a tweecer or something of that sort for an emulated/chipped ecu.. much more reliable and spot on.

Maybe on 6psi he'd be ok but 10psi... No bueno sir. Unless he's on an fmu; however, that will only work in the mean time. If I had bought that car I would go buy bigger injectors, bigger maf, a chip, and hit the dyno. Stock heads work best on an strim compare to other iron heads unless your going to go aluminum. I wish I didn't have p heads on my strim combo.

Nice buy! Was it rebuilt with forged internals? And did ya get any reciepts by chance? Yeah deff Ditch the e7's thats wierd that he did all that work and still has e7's. Its a possibilitly they are some form of aftermarket and the guy just didnt know. but i just find it odd to rebuild a motor, do all that work, add a S/C and theb restrict flow hardcore with those crappy heads.

Nice buy though! Btw you willing to sell the Cobra Rear bumper? If so remember i asked first Just send me a message if you are, im interested.

Also gets some pics of this beast

the cobra bumber is going on it, so i will have a gt bumber to sell. i didn't even think about the heads even being aftermarket new name e7s, they may be? but they still need to go
