How bad is it

So i was wondering how bad is it to drive around with just one muffler , cause last night as i driving home i guess the vibration form my engine or whatever shook it loose and it just fell off on the freeway so now on my driver side im just my exhaust leaving on my driver side right after the mid pipe and the passenger side is fine. I went to a auto shop before school and the wanted 250

for a muffler and installing it so i said F that but if i got pulled over by a cop and he notice i had only one muffler how bad is that ?

he will write you a ticket for it.. go to a pick and pull and get a muffler or somethin for the time bein.. then find a hole in the wall muffler shop and ask them to weld it on then you should be good

Ya cops won't like that.

My exhuast doesn't currently have any pipe on it. Makes it look alittle funny when the car is warming up.

well its my only car so i have to drive even thought it shouldnt be but it sounds mean as hell

yeah just dont get pulled over, so if you see a cop and he turns on his light, just keep going and dont pull over, thats the key.

lol u better rig somthing up..i could only imagine...i kno i heard my car running with jus the headers for about 10 seconds while we pulled it into the garage..but my friend who had the car before me had cut the tailpipes off and that was obnoxious!

well im in arkansas and i run around with no mufflers on it....just stock h pipe with the cats....its not really much louder than running a catless hpipe with mufflers....no issues so far

craigslist is a great place to find used mufflers, i gomy flowmasters for about 60$ for the pair

well i just got off the phone with pypes and there going to send me another muffler for 50bucks plus shiping whick i thought was a good deal and i should get it in 5 days... fingers crossed i dont get stoped by the polce until then

I just put shorty headers on with off road H-Pipes. I tried to connect them to garbage that was currently there, what a nightmare! First...the old crap rusted away from the new and fell off going 60 on the highway, this almost catapulted me into a nose dive. It was more embarrassing than anything. The hard part was to hang the old cat backs to something till I could drive 2 miles. Finally got home via AAA flatbed, then had to remove them from over the rear axel in my apartment complex's parking lot with a small saw (THAT WAS A BITCH!). So...now I run open H-Pipes here in California! Loud as hell crossing my fingers every inch of the way hoping cops don't pull me over. They are like exhaust nazi's here!
