Interior pics

i'm almost finished swapping out my 86 interior for an 88 . i still need to get some matching pro comp guages for the center vents ( the ultra lites are only for mock up ) and i have the small piece that goes under the steering column but since i still have to wire everything ( after it gets back from paint ) i'll leave it off because i don't want to break it. Took me forever to figure out the shifter ( i think the stock location is too far away )

thanks guys, i made the speedo/tach bezel, the only ones i could find out there use the smaller tachs not the 5 inch ones. i also made the stock shifter plate and modified the ashtray door. i have a few pics if anyone is interested in doing something similar.

i noticed the door skins changed to a post 86 style, did you change the whole door or just toss the skins on? If so did everything line up?

i kept the original 86 doors and just put on new door panels and while they lined up the window crank was a little off ( i just had to trim a little bit of the panel no biggie there ) and the armrests were off as well, i just got some long pointed bolts and screwed them into the door. they are very solid and won't come off.

so.....?

Maybe I didn't see but, does that new speedo come with the same style of hooking up to the trans as the stock gauge? Like with the cable, to the gear that goes into the trans? I'm getting ready to put my engine and tranny back in and was wanting to do something similar to this.

i ordered the wrong speedo, i think i can get the right cable from autometer. i just mocked up the interior as i have to rewire the car once it's painted so the guages arent hooked up yet
