How do you know the head is not cracked? Unless you have them magnafluxed you might not be able to see it. Could be a head gasket also. Do you have water/coolant in your oil?

my friend was tellin me it would be the intake gasket b/c its an alum intake and cast iron heads and block.. idk ill find out on sat

That doesn't matter, gaskets break when they want to..

Check your engine oil.. make sure there is no coolant in it... If you have a bad head gasket, coolant could leak into the engine.

Also if you take your intake off, make sure no coolant gets into the oil or vice versa. Its probably a good idea to change the oil after you take the intake off just in case. I have heard lots of horror stories from friends who replaced intake gaskets, and then didn't change the oil afterwards. A couple hundred miles later, the bottom end is trashed.

wow man, just replace the intake gaskets.. really not that hard.. but if it's using that much then something big is up.

i would have done it already but im gonna do it tomorrow.. and im still tryin to get gasket between upper and lower too.. just tryin to collect parts so i have everything.. shes my dd

damn i got lucky.. all it was was the gasket.. when i went to take off the lower intake, it took nothing to break it loose.. i bearly even pulled on it.. so the new gasket is on there along w/ a lot of rtv

for future ref.. its a felpro 1250

o forgot to put.. no water in the oil.. it just leaked out the back.. and i put in a new 160 thermo and took off the heater tubes that i dont need.. btw what is the senor on those tubes? and what is the sensor on the intake on the drivers side up front? i kinda broke it lol

ps.. i know about the thermo.. but i still havent had the time or the money to figure out y she runs hot and summers comin soon
