Heads??

Do they really make that much difference? I have 351W heads that have been ported and I have ran 8.2 all motor (my fastest pass). There was a guy out there running then same set up but with Trick Flow Street heads and was running what I was on spray.

you made it sound like he was running spray. if you go back and read i think you will see what im talking about. the answer is yes, a good set of heads (AFR, Edelbrock, Trick Flow etc) can add up to 75HP, especially if you have the right combo to go with them.

Don't mean to hijack, but I'm wondering how much power I'm missing out on with my GT40p heads (ported, polished, 5-angle valve job) on my 351w?

I've been debating about buying different heads, but I'm not sure I want to make the investment unless it will be worth it.

It has a custom ultradyne 292-292 duration, 512 max lift cam in it.

Will I have to get new push rods if I buy new heads? Do most heads come complete? I'm guessing 185cc heads would be a good choice?
