Equal Length MAC Header installed this weekend

I tackled my exhaust upgrade this weekend, well started Thursday late afternoon and finished up today. I installed MAC equal length headers, o/r/pro chamber and MAC flowpath mufflers. Before I started I spoke to MAC and they said the install would be very easy. I would rather tackle a suspension upgrade on 15 different cars before I tackle another exhaust upgrade. Busted knuckles is an understatement!!!

Ha ha I feel you I just did bbk longtubes 1 3/4 primaries and a 3 inch collector and full 3 inchs down it was a bitch. I had to disonnect both motor mounts and the steering shaft.

hah, try putting some longtubes in :p

exhaust work does suck, but i dont know about handling 15 cars grimey suspension

my longtubes take 30 minutes to install. i dont like equal length headers, difficult to change the plugs. i would rather change exhaust systems any day than change the front suspension on a mustang!

yeah my long tubes were a bitch, I had to custom fab(dead blow) one side of the driver side header... Needless to say, my K-member and front suspension was not any easier.

mine took about an hour, maybe if i did it again it would be easier lol

equal length headers are a pain period. I wouldn't put them on another car period. Feel your pain though bro.

I hate changeing plugs on equal length headers. Just an epic failure.

The plugs werent the problem just having to drop the steering shaft and then trying to snake them in to the heads. The passengr side sucked just as bad. i have to say though the MAC system sounds bad A** FTW!!! Glad I didnt go Flowmaster
