stuttering promblem... :(

the other day i was driving down the highway an this lil turbo thing came up wanting too race me. so i race him from 45mph to 105mph. when my car got too about 60-65mph it started to stutter, like it was not gettin no fuel or enough air? if my maf is bad could this have ne thing too do with this? or could it be my injectors? plz help i dont no what it is! need to fix soon..

first time it happened? was it at high rpm? do you always drive this car? have you done anything to the motor recently?

no its not the first time. ya its only at high rpm. ya its a daily driver. no i have not done ne thing to the motor recently.

i have not done a tune up since i have had it. idk if the injectors and maf are stock! cuz thats the way i bought the car. but could that be the promblem? what would the cheapest thing to start with out of the three?

Could be a number of things, simple or serious. Could even be as simple/cheap as a clogged fuel filter. If you have never changed it, I would start with that..

id buy new spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and a fuel filter. is the check engine light on?

ok that sounds good. idk if the check engine light is on cuz none of the lights work in the dash! theres no chance that it could be air fuel promblem cuz it start at high rpm at 60mph?

my fox did the same thing when i first bought it, changed the fuel filter and was good after that, cheap and easy start there
