Anybody else think that their King Of The Street Competition is a joke ?? i've let my subscription run out just because they hold this stupid thing. It has ricer written all over it. The only cars that seem to win are dyno queens. Top couple of cars made over 900 hp ( i respect the hp ) yet only run 10.80s - 10.90s wtf ??? around here they would get laughed out of town. the car that finished 2nd had twn turbos, a twin screw , and a nitrous kit but barely cracked the 10s what a joke, i'd be embarassed if that was my car. Oh well, i just wanted to bitch a little , rant over .

They have articles in that magazine? I'll have to go through it again.
I thought it was 65 pages of obvious ads and 10 pages of ads disguised as "articles". I always look for the "This is an advertisement" on the top and bottom of those "articles" but it is strangely absent

haha it has definately turned and headed down the wrong road. i remember when it used to be halfway decent

I'm not sticking up for them but those are street cars with power windows and cc,full interiors, It's pretty hard to find cars like that any place. the "street car" statement is a never ending argument, I'm just saying that most of those cars are bad ass like them or not.

Well look at the title... king of the STREETS. Tens is not slow by all means, but these cars are suppose to be on double duty. btw I bet that 10 second pass was backed with a 138plus mph through the traps meaning its a tad faster then high tens.

yeah thats wat i was thinkin.....i bet the et.s and the trap speeds dont match at all

we (Oklahoma) have the fastest street cars in the world. they all run mid to low 8's in the quarter.

the car that came in first place had a manual brakes and no power steering, my car had a full interior, stock seats and all, power brakes, full exhaust and was completely street legal ( except for the missing cats ) and i ran faster then the first placed car on drag radials. i thought of trying to enter that competition but i don't have a 1000 hp dyno queen or a flashy paint job or a turbo so i guess it's a waste of time ( even tho my car would've crushed those cars in terms of reliability and on the strip )
