yeah just drag your foot.........I would just get the ones from autozone, They used to have some that have a lifetime warranty. Yeah they are gonna wear out but you get new ones for free. There is not too much difference in pads that I personally have noticed, rotors is where its at, and better calipers.

Does your car go fast enough to need brakes? Just kidding bro, faster than mine is right now huh? LOL...You probably noticed a huge difference cause of the rotors they stay a LOT cooler. Did you go with the same size or bigger?

Brake Pads: Choosing The Best Friction Linings
This link says that the OEM pads are usually the best pads. It says they are metallic and most aftermarket are ceramic and get hot. IDK I usually run what ever they tell me are the best they have at that time

I know each person has an opinion but for all of my cars, I get the cheapest pads that are bonded and not riveted. At Advance Auto, that is usually the "Silver" line which is the middle of three choices. I'm sure they are not the best and maybe not as good as OEM but Ive had no problems with them. I've had really bad luck with ceramic pads. I've never tried Hawk brand pads.

Although the Autozone proudly made with quality in china lifetime warranty $15 pads sound enticing.. I'll just say two things I don't skimp on are tires and brakes.

Personally I'd pay more and buy quality pads from Ford before I bought the cheap Autozone ones.

I'm not saying Ford makes the best stuff out there.. If you want to spend more yet for the aftermarket high performance ones, thats another story.
