Beautiful GT man, any pics of the harness in the fender I just finished mine up and was trying to see any differences...? Maybe you did something else that I should look into?
.
I mocked up the wire hiding before I sent the car to paint...but i don't have any pics-sorry. unfortunately the car wont be back from my body man for about a month or so. I will definetly start another thread though when it comes time to finally wire her up for good. I am praying for minimal electrical bugs.

no pics of the wiring but heres the smoothed bay...check it out

Go for Canfield 195 heads
I was reading on camshaftinnovations.com that in order to run the canfield 195's they reccomend aftermarket pistons or notching your stock pistons...as you can see from the pictures my bottom end is already together (aka pistons already pressed to connecting rods). My question is- do I need to notch the stock pistons even more, or is the stock notch fine. I'm gonna call camshaftinnovations tommorrow and speak with jay hopefully and see what his opinion is but i was just curious if anyone knew if the stock pistons would work or not. Thanks.

Dont get discouraged if he doesnt answer right away...I know he is very busy..... Most in-line heads would require you to notch any way..... twisted wedge heads have different valve angles that do not use the stock valve reliefs....

Dont be scared to notch piston......

You will be pleased with the route you are going.....

Spend the extra money for quality parts.....

I will be going this route when I get enough money.....

Looking to run high 10's on the stock 302

It depends on how much money you have to spend.

I would look into some AFR/Twisted Wedge Heads, Performer rpm II intake, and a trickflow grind Like a tfs stage 2. Would make a bitchin top end motor.

Or you could run stock heads, systemax, alphabet cam and an s trim for about the same price

It's disheartening when I see replies like this...isn't the whole purpose of the search function to review old threads? Why would the forum keep all these old threads if not for people to review them and learn? By all means flame me if I'm wrong, but as long as bringing up an old thread involves some kind of tech question I think it's ok. Now obviously if it's a thread from 5 years ago, and it's bumped solely for a "sweet car" or "" it's a little ridiculous.

Edit: I just realized I bumped this, with no tech at all myself. Flame me. I deserve it this time...
