Use those cleveland heads, put it on a windsor block with a funnel web intake.

what power will you loose? It's the same cyl heads, on the same cubic inches. If anything youll make more power.

well then you need to either change the compression ratio of the motor, or the style of nitrous your using.
I assume your hitting it with a cheater plate?

That's harsh man.. Honestly You should look into some better springs and adding more ptv clearance if your going to be spraying it that hard.
Can you give me a list with your full setup?

not even close, a stock 351C block can hold 1000hp , heads flow as good as any windsor out there. You just need to work out you nitrous problems and double check yourvalve train springs, keepers, retainers, ect.

what are you talking about? just cause he has a lot of nitrous doesnt mean he needs bigger ptv clearance, especially if you dont know his cc ratios, or his flycuts anyway. and clevelands are WAY better than windsors

why did you have a nitrous explosion? rev it too high and hit the limiter? might look into a window switch.

What Im thinking happend is right after the 60 foot I had to have got into somthing on the track and got on the rev limit but I never herd it till the explosion. It got the cylinder wall pretty bad and the head is gone, spark plug looks like a dime now freaken sucks. it wasnt even a race i was in test n tune

Im guessing its valve train issues.....bad springs...the explosion was the valve dropping not nitrous
