damn man nice bay. I just spent about 15 minutes stareing at all the detail. Youve addressed everything. If i took a guess id say there was over a 1000 hours put into all that. very nice.

You've got me confused with 95opal. As much as I'd like to, I can't take credit for his beautiful and hard work.

So guys it’s been a while since I updated this thread...and a lot has happened in the past few months.
I had the guy who originally painted the car 3 yrs ago working on the finish body work in the engine bay while I was away at school this past semester. When I returned home in may after the guy had the car for almost 7 months, not a single thing had been done. He had developed a rather severe drug habit and took my money and ran, he then tried to hold my car "hostage" claiming that I owed him storage fees for 7 months of storage. Needless to say I got the car back via police escort and a flat bed wrecker, but I was pretty scared for a while there. Since then I have ordered nearly all my parts to complete the motor, and the bay has been finished by Ken at Pete’s Car Star in South Windsor CT. Here are some pics of the progress.

NOW FOR THE LONG AWAITED PAINTED ENGINE BAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry guys I felt like this thing was never gonna get finsihed with all the bs I encountered along the way...these pics are of it still at the paint shop. Tomorrow they are wetsanding and buffing the bay, buffing the whole car, and touching up a few small scratches/chips. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I love how the color of my paint changes tones in all the different lighting...it goes from green, to bluish green, and then to a really really dark green.

I really want to atleast have her fired up before the end of the summer...I still have to find some valve covers, buy the taylor battery relocation box, and msd distributor, some new wires and plugs, headers and x pipe and mufflers...(for the exhaust I think I'm gonna run hooker super competition longtubes to a 3"dr gas x and then some spintech pro streets dumped.
I know that I also need to invest in a new computer for the car...I am still debating as to which one to get...I have been recomended to invest in a FAST setup as well as the Anderson PMS tuner, and the Tweecer. Right now I have no idea which route to take...suggestions and advice welcome. Thanks Guys.

Car looks awewome, but kinda makes me sick at the same time, seeing how far away I am to how I want mine to be. I am in the beginning stages of filling in all the holes.
Are those canfield heads?
