Completely awesome dude, good to see someone do things with legit parts, the ONLY thing I would change is the MAF, I'm not a PMAS fan, but if you like it do what works. Good luck, hope everything works out

sorry guys I felt like this thing was never gonna get finsihed with all the bs I encountered along the way...these pics are of it still at the paint shop. Tomorrow they are wetsanding and buffing the bay, buffing the whole car, and touching up a few small scratches/chips.

I love how the color of my paint changes tones in all the different lighting...it goes from green, to bluish green, and then to a really really dark green.

What are the rest of the specs on that custom cam, did you list the intake or exhaust?

haha...yea guys gotta keep some of the goodies secret, keep jays magic under wraps haha. e3sean, the heads are canfield 195's with ferrera 6000 valves titanium retainers and jays reccomended valve springs, (forgot the brand). I'm really hoping she rips, and thanks for all the positive feedback guys its motivation.

ne one got some suggestions for what I should do as far as an engine mgmt system goes...ive heard FAST (way too expensive), tweecer, anderson PMS, SCT, AEM, flashing the stocker and now I really just have noo idea what direction to go for the motor setup I have. any help, experience, advice would be greatly appreciated.

idk...some ppl have said that I dont, jay allen suggests that I do, as does my local speed shop...It would be nice though if could get away without buying one but at the same time maximize my horsepower.

That caught my eye also, did you have it changed to custom paint or is it still deep emerald green? I've never noticed that kind of change in the stock colors at different lighting.

About the computer, i'd listen to your cam grinder. I always liked the ease of installation with AEM, and many users have been very satisfied with it. And come on, what's another $1600 when looking at what you have been spending on other parts... Looking good, i'm so jealous.

You would not be dissapointed with the ems... i wouldn't think it to be really necessary, but jay doesn't make money for making bad cams either, so he may be on to something.

a good chip and tune will do if you are running it on the motor just get a selector switch for a streed tune and track tune. if you were going to switch stuff then i would say a programmable tuner but i am sure you will keep that set up for a while.

I plan on putting a low boost supercharger on it this winter (6-10psi), The AFM pms kit is 900 bucks and is supposedly very user friendly...I like the fact that you can really dial in your timing curves and really get the most potential out of you motor. I am leaning towards this setup, especially beacause it doesn't seem like there are a lot of horror stories with it and its pretty user friendly.

Anyone out there running canfields...I need longtube headers and since the exhaust ports are raised up 3/4" from stock, I want to be sure that the headers I buy will fit properly. I think Im gonna go with the hooker super competition headers from summit. let me know if anyone has a reccomended brand in the 500 dollar range...They dont have to be ceramic, I can always get them powdercoated later. thanks.
