figured i would update you guys on what I got accomplished today...

rewrapped the entire wiring harness with electrical tape, and it came out really good surprisingly.
tucked the harness(which seemed like miles of wire) through those two tiny little holes on either side of the bay, plugged most of the s%#t together and layed it out roughly where it will remain inside of the fenderwells
installed my cam and lifters

still need to order the taylor battery relocation kit, some headers x pipe (dr gas 3in) and mufflers (spintechs), msd distributor, pushrods, and some plugs and wires...

shes getting closer to being more than a just really costly paper weight finally.

does ne one know if I need to run a bronze gear on my distributor because I have a billet cam...if so who sells them?

so heres my daily...the killa cam for superbean

and heres the progress i've made on the stang

had to head back to school this week, but I think I can have her fired up next weekend just have to take care of some small things.

and btw, msd reccomended to use the steel gear supplied with the msd pro bullit distributor when using a billet cam, they said the bronze gear was safe to use with either a billet or traditional camshaft. I installed it with the supplied steel gear, any thoghts/reccomendations.

the wiring is like 95% there, just gotta connect some ground and run the positive cable up from the battery to the bay, gotta get some new coolant lines so that I have heat, re-install the tank with my new walbro pump, run my braided fuel lines from the tank up to the motor and throw the driveshaft in and I should be in business. so hopefully next weekend I will have some good news that it runs (everyone cross your fingers).

when i remember ill take so pics of the new stance...she is sooo slammed, top of the radiator support is 28" from the ground...got some new tires stretched to my cobras so that it clears my coilovers. and believe it or not my 2.5" cowl hood clears that monstrosity of an intake manifold which is a shocker to me. hope you guys like how its comin out.

thanks man...kinda pissed i wasted my money on that spacer...shit was like $100, oh well though. anyone reccomend a set of longtubes for the canfields, supposedly certain headers fit better than others due to canfields elevated exhaust ports.

So this past weekend i got new Ford racing valve covers, the tall style. I had to do this b/c of the intake style im running. I personally think they look sick, let me know what you guys think. I also ran my braided lines all the way to the tank, ran my positive batt cable to the trunk. drilled and tapped my elbow for vacuum lines, installed the radiator, p/s pump, got some sweet chrome mac coolant lines.

all thats left is mounting the FPR, the MSD box, The MSD coil, and fillin her up with some fluids. should have it fired up friday or saturday when i get a chance to work on it.

heres a pic of what the bay will almost look like finished. im gonna tidy up a few things as far as wiring goes (maybe build a cover that runs across the big lip on the firewall to hide the main harness).

also I will very soon get rid of those hideous wires, but I had them layin around and they were in good shape. gettin some black livewires asap.

If anyone can tell me what sensor mounts on the passenger side of the block in the back close to the firewall...it looks like a knock sensor location, but when i went to the parts store they told me my car doesnt have a knock sensor. could just be a dealer only part or something though. Thanks.

pic was taken at night and it was foggy/frosty out...paint looks f-ed up, but you get the idea.
