Hi, folks! New here. I've had an '89 GT for about two years now and have a few mods.

Problem: My garage is filling up with all the stock parts I have now replaced with aftermarket bits.

Solution: I just bought a '79 Mustang Ghia Hatchback for $400. It was abandoned at a repair shop because the owner didn't think it was worth it to replace the brake master cylinder. It needs a little work, but it's really not in too bad a shape. The body is fairly straight, no rust, and all of the glass is perfect. It has an SROD 4-speed and a 302 that was rebuilt at one time. Whoever did it also added an Edelbrock 4-barrel and aluminum manifold.

I'd like to put my stock '89 GT Turbine wheels mounted with 225/60-15 Bridgestones on it. Any clearance problems in front? And I'd also like to add the stock '89 factory headers to it. Any problems with fitting those on a '79? And finally, does anyone know where to get body moldings and interior parts for a '79? I've been getting most of my stuff from LateModel, but they show very little for the early Fox. Thanks!
