That looks awesome man!!!!! I think I'd paint up the panel over the glove box to match the one over the guage bezels too. Maybe find a way to highlight that gt emblem on there as well.

I was going to paint the GT on the dash with some red and silver paint. And for the piece that lays ontop of the dash I was going to do it the same grey as the dash but with two red stripes that would line up with the ones on the ceiling. Im not sure if too many stripes would look bad though

I have had some trouble with these door panels but here is what I have so far. I ran out of red vinel too for the stripe. It's turning out better than I thought though.

Yep, I just used the old cardboard and some spray adhesive. However on my car the cardboard is held up by the trim pieces. Not sure about your year though

I havent updated this in a while.
Last week I got my carpet put in for the most part. I still have to fit it a little more thought. The carpet cost me $48 at home depot and $25 to rent a steamer. So I saved a little money doing it myself and I like this carpet alot.

yeah burber (sp?) carpet isnt really made for cars or anything that doesnt really lay flat, Its too hard to get it to form. I dont even like it in a house to be honest, its a heavy traffic carpet for offices and commercial installations where something is needed that can take a lot of wear. I have done my own carpet a few times but I use the stuff made for interiors, speaker boxes, etc. because it forms better, but now I would just order a carpet kit instead of messing with cutting and forming it. Looks good though, especially the seats, very nice work

NICE! Does the steamer make the carpet stick to the floor or just mold around the contours of the floor?

I want to do just about the same thing in my hatch area, I took the rear seats and the deadening material out.
